Premier Physician, Michael Fain, MD, Appointed Chief of Staff Elect for Mercy Hospital Fairfield
Premier Health Care Services, Inc. congratulates Dr. Michael Fain on his appointment as Chief of Staff Elect for Mercy Hospital Fairfield in Fairfield, OH. He began his 4-year term as of January 1, 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) February 03, 2011 - Dayton, OH - Michael Fain, MD will serve his first two years as Chief of Staff Elect for Mercy Fairfield and then serve two years as Chief of Staff.
During his first two years he will chair the hospital's Quality Improvement Committee. For the second two years, he will chair the Medical Executive Committee. During his total term, he will also serve on the Quality and Patient Safety Committee and the Physicians Council for all Southwest Ohio Mercy Hospitals.
"I am looking forward to representing the medical staff here and working closely with the administration, both at Mercy Fairfield and at Mercy Health Partners," says Dr. Fain. "With health care reform looming, pending reimbursement changes, and continued focus on quality measures, this will certainly be a challenging time to serve."
Dr. Fain previously served as Chief of Medicine at Mercy Fairfield. He has worked as one of Premier Health Care Services' ED physicians since 1997, most recently in the role of Associate Medical Director for the ED at Mercy Fairfield.

Premier began staffing and managing Mercy Fairfield's ED in 1997, and in that time two other Premier physicians have been chosen as Chief of Staff for the hospital.
