It tells the story of Daniel, a Jewish nobleman exiled in Babylon. As Daniel was saved by God, the message holds that all of Israel will be saved from oppression. Temple Beth Hillel of South Windsor, CT is hosting a new adult education series on The Book of Daniel with Jewish scholar Jo Bruce. The event is being held from 11am-12pm every Sunday from October 30-Dec. 18th at Temple Beth Hillel, 20 Baker Lane in South Windsor and is free and open for all.
Jo Bruce was formerly the Head of Women's Programmes and Special Events at the London School of Jewish Studies. Her resume is an impressive commitment to Jewish learning and education. Ms. Bruce believes all Jews should have the opportunity to experience open, accessible, thought-provoking Jewish education.
