Powerstone Property Management Team Raises $136,000 for Fight Against Pediatric Cancer

Orange County, CA (1888PressRelease) April 05, 2023 - Powerstone Property Management Inc., a full-service Orange County, California based property management firm, announced today that the company raised $136,000 at the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation (PCRF) Reaching for the Cure – 1k/5k/10k and half marathon - event held on March 26, 2023. The event featured 2600 runners and walkers with 72 different fundraising teams. Powerstone’s team of 80 people included staff as well has corporate partners.

Powerstone has participated for 12 years, and CEO Rene’ Decker had this to say: “I’m very excited and proud that our team once again was able to deliver for this important cause. Our people and partners are very generous and their energy and enthusiasm to fund research to fight pediatric cancer has helped us raise over $1,000,000 since we adopted PCRF in 2011 as our charity of record.” He added: “Special thanks goes to Powerstone Director of Community Management Kylie Decker who organized our team and who manages all of our fundraising events throughout the year.” Jeri Wilson, Executive Director of PCRF said: “This is great event for PCRF, and it was very rewarding to have so many people participate. We raised over $600,000 in total, our best year ever. Powerstone is a big reason for this success and their team was just as awesome as always. I want to thank them for their years of support and generosity.”

The event which celebrated its 25th anniversary was held at Irvine Valley College.
