Power Plant Operations & Maintenance 2011
Sustaining Operational Efficiency through Production Maximization and Costs Minimization.
- (1888PressRelease) May 11, 2011 - Kuala Lumpur - For single power plants as well as power plant cascades, power production has to be maximized whereas the costs have to be reduced to a minimum.
Power Plant Operations & Maintenance 2011 is a two-day conference and is scheduled to be held on the 21st-22nd of June 2011 at the Parkroyal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The key opening address will be delivered by Y.B. Datuk Loo Tok Gee, Secretary General, Ministry of Energy, Green Technology & Water, Malaysia.
This conference systematically identifies the issues surrounding the effective linking of management techniques and engineering applications in power plants. It is not technical, nor is it procedure led.
The primary aim of the event is to highlight the core power plant O&M issues to help plant managers and decision makers manage at optimum efficiency. Some of the key highlights include improving safety and operations with shift-planning functionality, cutting maintenance and outage costs by integrating maintenance activities and shift procedures, decreasing downtime and maintenance costs through early problem detection.
The event is delighted to confirm the presence of Shell, TNB Remaco, Aspen Tech and Asset Dynamics Asia as key sponsors.
