  • (1888PressRelease) September 23, 2010 - Portland, OR - Portland-based used car rack dealer ReRack has purchased a building from the former Timberline Dodge, located at 2240 NE Sandy Blvd, the intersection of NE Sandy and NE Glisan. Located right up the street from ReRack's existing building at 2034 NE Sandy Blvd, the new home will provide for increased buying of used racks, improved customer service and a larger product selection for ReRack.

According to Bo Grayzel, owner of ReRack, "I want my customers to get the best shopping experience possible. We will be able to accommodate many times our current client base. We want to be able to say 'yes' to every customer and having such a well laid out, spacious location with lots of off street parking will make that much easier."

In operation since 2008, ReRack is experiencing a tremendous amount of growth that has enabled it to move quickly into a bigger spot. With about 15,000 square feet of land at a location which includes a 5000 square foot building, ReRack will have the opportunity to help further the economic revitalization of that stretch of Sandy Boulevard.

"I want ReRack to be known as the best independent used rack shop in the Pacific Northwest. Our new location will help make that happen. We expect this to be ReRack's landmark location for decades to come," said Grayzel.

A number of businesses have started here and more plan to purchase and move into the buildings on the historic Timberline Triangle bounded by NE Sandy Blvd., Glisan and NE 24th Avenue.

John Gibson of Colliers International, listing agent for all of the properties on the Timberline Triangle, stated, "ReRack is the first business to buy but we are seeing a lot of interest from local business owners looking to own a building in this quickly changing part of Sandy. It definitely is not too late to get into a building on this unique triangle."

Improvements to ReRack's new shop are funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration and Key Bank. Summit Construction has been selected to make the improvements to the building.

ReRack's main mission is to buy, sell and trade used Yakima and Thule racks to promote sustainability in the field and reduce the waste stream. ReRack is also an authorized dealer of new rack products from Inno, Rola, and Swagman. The grand opening for the new ReRack location will be in late November.
