Women's Business Enterprise National Council re-certifies local Des Moines business.
- Des Moines, IA (1888PressRelease) June 03, 2011 - Portico HR, a leading recruiting firm in the Des Moines area, was recently re-certified as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE), a title bestowed by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC is a non-profit organization and the primary advocate of women-owned businesses as vendors to corporations across the nation. WBENC certification is one of the most recognized and distinguished certifications in the nation. Certification is a key principle for the WBENC, as it declares that a company or organization is 51 percent owned or managed by a woman or women.
After an intensive certification process five years ago, and continued demonstration of their investment and commitment to the women's business community, Portico HR received their re-certification as a WBE in May.
