- (1888PressRelease) December 18, 2012 - Musicline, a leading publisher of school musicals, has launched a brand new, children's musical comedy, Porridge, written by well-known author Craig Hawes.
Porridge, aimed at KS2, 7 - 11 years, features popular story book characters such as Goldie Locks, Mother Hubbard and the three bears. Its pre-release performances received fantastic reviews. Joanna Hall, head teacher, North Wheatley primary school said: "Porridge has a clever story, hilarious script and fabulous songs that our whole school loved performing. The parents and pupils are still talking about it. It was a spectacular success."
The show lasts for one hour, there are 42 speaking roles and four non-speaking parts which can be easily expanded or reduced. Porridge also features Musicline's unique line count system, making casting a five minute job.
Dave Smith, executive director, Musicline said: "It's Craig Hawes' best musical yet. We can't wait to see teachers, parents and pupils reactions."
