TikTok Creator and Influencer Beverly Mahone, known as "Auntie Bev", will share her unique power words of encouragement to attendees at this year's Virtual Summit.
(1888PressRelease) March 23, 2022 - Beverly Mahone, also known as “Auntie Bev” to her nearly 600k TikTok fans, will be the opening speaker at this year’s Science and Mathematics Education Summit at Jackson State University (JSU).
Ms. Mahone was invited to speak as a result of her strong video presence on TikTok. The veteran journalist says it’s an honor to be a part of such a worthwhile event. ”I’ve always been a champion for education and I’m delighted to offer some Auntie Bev POWER WORDS of inspiration to the educators and administrators. The Virtual STEM Summit at JSU is open to all educators and administrators from kindergarten to the college level, as well as teacher education majors and STEM majors.
The Summit will be held on Saturday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
As a TikTok Creator and Influencer, Auntie Bev. presents daily words to help others build their vocabulary skills and her videos have been viewed more than 10 million times.
In addition to her TikTok influence, Ms. Mahone is the author of five books, including three Amazon best-sellers. Ms. Mahone says although she didn’t personally attend an HBCU, she works as a part-time Writing Consultant at North Carolina Central University. “I have nothing but love for the HBCU family and, as an Aggie (Pride) mom, I truly understand the rich history and tradition schools like Jackson State have.”
