Polymet to Present on Thermal Spraying at FABTECH Las Vegas
Sales Manager Bob Unger to Present on Cored Wire Development in Thermal Spraying.
- Cincinnati, OH-KY-IN (1888PressRelease) November 10, 2012 - Wire manufacturer Polymet Corporation, a global provider of materials for hardfacing, welding, and thermal spraying, will present on new developments in thermal spraying at FABTECH Las Vegas 2012. Polymet will be a part of FABTECH's Conferences and Professional Events segment of the show, which includes presentations, seminars, and networking.
Sales Manager Bob Unger will be the representative presenting in FABTECH's W29: Thermal Spray Technology - High Performance Surfaces. Bob's presentation, "New Developments in Cored Wires for Thermal Spraying," will focus on the use of unique alloys in thermal spraying that are not available in solid wire form. These unique alloys include amorphous, nano, and self-fluxing alloys. Bob will also discuss successful applications for these cored wire alloys.
Bob feels that these technical events are critical in an industry such as thermal spraying, stating that "It is very important to share and deliver technological advancements in this industry. Customers require the highest quality materials available and it is our job to provide that expected quality. Our developments in thermal spray technology will directly affect this quality."
Bob's presentation on cored wire developments will take place at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, November 13 in room N255 of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Other thermal spray topics include "Corrosion and Protection Offered by a Dispersed Oxide Coating System" and "Thermal Spray Methods & Equipment - 1800's through the 1930's."
