Polymet to Exhibit at the Farnborough International Airshow 2012
Polymet is excited to attend the Farnborough International Airshow in London on July 9-15, 2012.
- (1888PressRelease) June 22, 2012 - Polymet Corporation, an Ohio-based wire manufacturer, will be exhibiting at the Farnborough International Airshow 2012 in Farnborough, England July 9 - 15. This is the largest, truly global event of its kind, boasting a platform of 1,400 exhibitors from the aerospace, defense, space, and security sectors. The show is designed to enable unparalleled opportunities to meet, negotiate, and announce business transactions. For five days, exhibitors will showcase and demonstrate aircraft equipment and technologies.
Polymet will be new to the Farnborough experience this year but they are excited about the upcoming opportunity. Danny Newman, Sales Manager for Hardfacing and Welding, states, "We are eager to exhibit at a trade show of this magnitude. This is not only the largest show in the industry, but it is one of the biggest shows in the world. We have a tremendous opportunity to secure new business for our hardfacing and thermal spray coating wire products used in the aerospace markets."
Hardfacing alloy products such as Rene 142, Merl 72, T800, and CM 64 will be at the forefront of Polymet's exhibiting efforts. Typical aerospace applications for these wire products include blades and vanes, nozzle frames and casings, hot section components, and engine casings. Polymet will also showcase their high quality, AMS grade weld wire, including Hastelloy C-263, Hastelloy X, and several Inconel alloys such as Inconel 718.
The 2012 Farnborough International Airshow is estimated to have over 125,000 visitors. At the conclusion of the trade exhibition, a public airshow will be held July 14 - 15.
