POLY-WOOD, Inc. Announces Relocation, Redesign and Unveiling of Planned Expansion To 5,000 Square Feet For Chicago Merchandise Mart Showroom
POLY-WOOD, Inc., manufacturer of sustainable casual furniture, announces the relocation and redesign of its permanent showroom in the Chicago Merchandise Mart facilitated by a move to the new casual furnishings destination on the Mart's 15th floor.
- (1888PressRelease) August 14, 2013 - Opened for the first time for the July Casual Furniture Preview Market, the new showroom, 15-105, debuted displaying POLY-WOOD, Inc's growing casual furnishings collections within a modern glass-enclosed peninsula space. For the September Casual Furnishings Market, an additional 1,600 square feet will be unveiled for the first time as a part of the second and final stage in the relocation and redesign process.

Over 20 outdoor furniture collections and hundreds of individual pieces and accessories have been incorporated into the new showroom for year-around display. During the casual furnishing markets, the new POLY-WOOD, Inc. showroom will host visitors representing hundreds of outdoor specialty retailers. "With the expanded space, we will be able to highlight the multiple furnishing styles we offer as well as our newest collections that incorporate alternative materials, advanced textiles and plenty of color," said Lauren Hodges, artistic director for POLY-WOOD, Inc.
In September 2013, the showroom will grow by 1600 square feet to house additional furnishings being introduced for the first time at the Chicago market. "The showroom and its layout provide a unique configuration and total view-through display style," Hodges said. "With the additional space, we are able to create greater numbers of vignettes to feature the scope of our product lines."
