Podcaster Jay Walker Inks deal with Sincalr Broadcast Group for Syndicated Show
Podcaster Jay Walker to host Syndicated version of Hit Podcast.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) May 29, 2023 - Podcaster Jay Walker is taking the plunge with Sinclair on a syndicated series targeted for a fall 2023 debut.
ABC will carry double runs of Walker eponymous, live-to-tape daily weekly talk show in many of the top markets, including Chicago, Philadelphia and San Francisco.
Sinclair Broadcast Group will distribute the show and carry it in more than 20 top markets, including Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas and Denver. The show had a test run in several Sinclair markets that was successful enough to convince the partners to roll the dice on a national rollout.
“With Jay at the helm, this program has an opportunity to attract blue-chip advertisers, generate large audiences and empower viewers across the country,” said Dave Lougee, president of Sinclair Media. “During the show’s test run , Jays audience grew in every market. Once viewers found him, they liked him and we look forward to introducing him to a wider audience next fall.”
