Podcast Series to Explore Cloud Services
Cloud Services Roundtable promoting free Podcasts about cloud services for MSPs and VARs.
- (1888PressRelease) July 20, 2011 - IT Author, Speaker, and Blogger Karl Palachuk, well respected in the Managed Services space, hosts bi-monthly Podcasts in addition to his regular newsletter and blogs offering consultative advice for the MSP channel. The Cloud Services Roundtable is one of Karl's content and training vehicles. The Podcasts, and supporting blog, provide education and resources for those currently managing and working within cloud service environments and those who are exploring cloud service environments.
Karl and his Special Co-host, SMB Nation Chairman Harry Brelsford, have an exciting line up over the next few months. SMB vendors and independent IT operators will join the show to showcase and assess the cloud offerings currently on the market. Cloud business models and cloud migrations will also be discussed. The line up of guests are as follows:
July 20 - Microsoft's Michael Leworthy and Bodhi Deb will discuss the business proposition for selling and implementing SBS 2011 Essentials. SBS 2011 is being marketed as an ideal first server for small businesses. The solution integrates into online services such as Office 365, cloud backup, and cloud management solutions.
Aug 3 - Rackspace's Johnny Perales will discuss how Managed Service Providers can make money bundling Rackspace services. Rackspace's core products include Managed Hosting, Cloud Hosting, and Email & Apps.
Aug 17 - Frank Burnee, Vice President of Managed Services at Equus Computer Systems, will discuss how HaaS (Hardware as a Service) fits in with cloud services.
Sept 7 - Cloud migration discussion and pointers from a Managed Service Provider's perspective. America's Tech Support CEO Michael Bayless will join the show. Michael was a very popular guest earlier in the year when he shared his 5-pack Cloud business model solution.
Sept 21 - Bob Breitman, President of IT That Works' midwest region, assesses and gives advice regarding salesforce, helpdesk, and staffing operational considerations for those operating in the cloud.
