PMAI opens new North Andover Wellness Center
New site provides primary care for residents in North Andover and surrounding areas.
- (1888PressRelease) July 29, 2010 - North Andover - Preventive Medicine Associates, Inc. (PMAI) has now opened a new primary care facility staffed with a doctor and two nurse practitioners. The center will serve the communities of Andover, North Andover, Lawrence, Lowell, Haverhill, Middleton, Danvers, North Reading and Beverly.
"Preventive Medicine Associates is happy to be serving the local communities," said Trish Wilson, Office Manager of the North Andover Wellness Center. "We are seeing a need for our healthcare services in the area. We have a brand new facility, excellent care providers and a genuine interest in helping our community."
The new 2,300 square foot site has state-of-the-art equipment for the practitioners. Physicians will treat patients for their basic health, wellness and primary care needs. If a specific need arises, beyond the doctor's on-site capabilities, patients will be referred to specialists. All insurance plans are accepted at this site.
The practice also specializes in addiction medicine, as do all PMAI centers. Patients at established PMAI practices respond well to care givers as primary care practitioners and addiction treatment specialists. PMAI offers counseling services to patients as a part of the recovery process.
