PMA Event In Los Angeles, "What's The Value Of Music?"

How are copyrights being valued and compensated in this new world order? How important is music to the success of a project? The Production Music Association is presenting a discussion with respected industry experts to explore the intrinsic and monetary value of music on Thursday, February 9th at the Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel in Studio City.
Panelists include David Renzer, former Chairman & CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group, Norman Chesky, co-founder & co-owner of Chesky Records and Manhattan Production Music, Richard Bellis, multi-award winning composer, Steve Celi, Music Manager for Fox On-Air Promotion, Joe Saba, President of VideoHelper, and Steve Pecile, President of Soundminer.
This event is open to all interested professionals. The cost to attend is $10 for PMA members and $15 for nonmembers and guests. The meeting will take place from 6:30 PM thru 9:00 PM with light refreshments and a no-host bar.
