PM Power Pack Solutions forays into the Portable Mobile Charger Segment

- (1888PressRelease) February 17, 2013 - PM Power Pack Solutions forays into the Portable Mobile Charger Segment Launches 'Recharge +', the first &only portable mobile charger to be manufactured in India PM Powerpack Solutions Pvt. Ltd, India's largest manufacturer and supplier of high end mobile phone batteries in the market since 15 years, now enters the Portable Mobile Charger Segment. The company has already invested approx. Rs. 10 crores in the project and plans to invest another Rs. 8-10 crores over the next 3 years. PM Powerpack portable mobile chargers are the only ones to be manufactured in India, giving the company an edge over the competitors as the products are designed according to the Indian climatic conditions and are available at an economical price.
To begin with, PM Powerpack has launched 'Recharge +', an on-the-go portable charger which can charge both smart phones as well as normal mobile handsets. Reasonably priced at Rs. 1499, it has a battery capacity of 2600 mAh. The company will soon be launching three more mini and luxury design products - Single USB Portable Charger 2200mAh (Capacity: 2200MaH), USB Portable Charger 5200 mAh (Capacity: 5200 mAh) and Dual USB Portable Charger 7800mAh (Capacity: 7800MaH), designed for Smart phone, Tablets & other mobile devices.
Keeping in view the increase in demand, the manufacturing unit of PM Powerpack, set up in Parwanoo, has a capacity to produce 20 million mobile phone batteries & 2 million portable mobile chargers per annum, respectively.
Mr. Pankaj Sachdeva, Director, PM Powerpack Solutions says, "During our soft launch of Recharge +, we have already sold 40,000 portable mobile chargers & hope to sell around 2,00,000 in the coming year through which the company aims to grab a market share of 10% and take it up to 25-30% in the next 3 years."
With the rise in number of smart phone users every year, PM Powerpack, with their range of products, hopes to bridge the gap between the ever-increasing need for battery life in mobile devices and the limited capacity of batteries available on portable devices.", he added.
Recharge+ Portable Mobile Charger is ultra slim, lightweight and has an innovative design. Keeping in mind the safety standards, it is equipped with Samsung SDI Rechargeable lithium-ion cell and has built - in short circuit, overcharge and temperature protection.
