Plus One Partners Pledges Support for the Frankie Lemmon Golf Tournament
Prominent Triangle sales consulting firm will sponsor the Triangle's largest one-day charity tournament.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) September 20, 2010 - Plus One Partners, a Triangle-based strategic sales consulting firm that specializes in driving top-line revenue, will sponsor the 2010 Ed Shook Golf Tournament on September 20, 2010 at Raleigh's North Ridge County Club to benefit the Frankie Lemmon Foundation. The annual event is the largest one-day philanthropic tournament in the Triangle, raising money to support the Frankie Lemmon School and Development Center - a nonprofit, tuition-free, developmental center designed specifically for children with special education needs.
Brian Baker, founder and managing partner of Plus One Partners, has been instrumental in recruiting participants and sponsors for the 46th installment of the event.
"This tournament has become an institution among triangle charity fundraisers, and the event this year is shaping up to be a huge success," Baker said. "It's been a wonderful experience planning and working with members of the Frankie Lemmon Foundation and the other sponsors. It's been incredibly inspiring to see such a great group of people working to support a common goal and such a wonderful cause"
Each year, the charity golf event provides much needed assistance to support the ongoing mission of the Frankie Lemmon School and Development Center. In 2008 the tournament raised over $90,000 with all proceeds ensuring the availability of therapeutic, specialized education for children age 3 to 6 who have developmental learning disabilities.
