"Growing up, I was a geeky girl who loved playing archeologist as much as I loved playing house and it was always my dream to start my own toy company," said Playdin founder, Kristin Aydin. "I received a B.S. in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Stanford University but my passion was always toys that inspired me to imagine.
