The business is supported by its own full In-House Toolroom, delivering a flexible and comprehensive service into many industries.

Over the last few years Pentagon Plastics Ltd has seen an organic growth of its Plastic Injection Moulding services into the Medical Industry. In this time the Company has built up an impressive portfolio of supplied products in the Drainable, Device and Disposable markets.

At the end of 2010 the Company assessed its current equipment with two goals in mind; to become more efficient whilst reducing its carbon footprint and to better align the Injection Moulding capabilities with the current market spread. The conclusion of the review was that it was time to purchase an all electric moulding machine with a high lock to shot weight ratio which offers a cleaner work area with a more efficient output. After working closely with the Carbon Trust, Pentagon Plastics Ltd secured an interest free loan to assist with the purchase and has sold on an older/less efficient machine to create the space within the Mould Shop.
