The Plantworks receives the 2009 Award of Merit from PIA (Plantscape Industry Alliance) under Silk Replica & Preserved for the Peppermill Casino & Hotel, Reno Nevada.

The design criteria dictated the use of 20 ft. to 30 ft. artificial Italian Cypress along with artificial exterior English ivy plants. Plantworks developed a custom manufactured UV rated landscape throughout the property. The Plantworks received a second Award of Merit from PIA for the M Resort Spa Casino. Opening in Spring 2009, M Resort Spa Casino in Las Vegas was designed using commercial grade artificial plants, artificial floral art, and artificial interior and exterior design elements. Early in the planning process, The Plantworks was challenged to design, manufacture and install custom artificial interior plantscape, some never before made. From the signature high-end lobby, to the 16th floor terrace, The Plantworks was the exclusive partner with Marnell Corrao Associates to bring the ideas to reality.
