Piscologia(R) Pisco Grows with the Expanding Market

- (1888PressRelease) September 02, 2011 - SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Topa Spirits, LLC, importer and wholesaler of Piscología® Pisco, delivered multiple pallets of its product to Washington, Oregon, and Montana this week. In addition to celebrating continued sales along the west coast, the owners recently closed a commercial agreement with a leading hotel chain in Perú.
Piscología®, the first listed Peruvian pisco in Washington, will be distributed to more liquor stores throughout September due to popular demand. Meg McFarland, Topa Spirits' V.P. of Operations stated: "Our team has worked rigorously to promote growth of the pisco category in Washington State and now it's in numerous stores and on upscale cocktail menus."
Thanks to Portland-based company, Drink Think, Piscología® will soon be served in popular bars and restaurants in Oregon. "We are thrilled about our new relationship with Drink Think. Kelly Kerbs and her team have made amazing progress reaching consumers and teaching them about pisco and Piscología®", said Krystle Hicks, V.P. of Marketing and Sales.
Topa Spirits is gaining popularity on the west coast with its heavy involvement in local communities. Piscología® will participate in an upcoming event at The Great Gatsby Garden Party to benefit the Rainier Valley Food Bank in Seattle. In the past few months, the Piscología® team participated in philanthropic and non-profit groups in Washington and California such as Social Venture Partners, Awamaki, Amigos de Salud, Al Shifa Community Clinic, Chula Vista Nature Center and The Chula Vista Rotary Club.
After recent launch parties in Lima and Cusco successfully introduced the Piscología® brand to the Peruvian market, the executive team signed a commercial deal with a leading hotel chain in Perú.
