  • (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2013 - TopLink Conference & event management will be holding Piping Dynamic Analysis and Vibration workshop at the International 5 Star Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 28th till 30th march 2013.

It be a very beneficial to all design engineers & managers, field engineers and managers of operating companies to attend this workshop as they will be able to:

    - Understanding of the process plant piping subjected to normal operating and occasional loading conditions
    - Understand requirements of ASME B31.3 to process plant piping systems and apply the engineering principles of piping system when subjected to dynamic loads and further how to use piping analysis software/CAESAR to meet these requirements
    - Determine loads imposed on piping system, equipment and associated structures
    - Anticipate stresses and ensure within the safe allowable limits
    - Know the concepts of free & forced vibration, resonances, damping and measurement
    - Evaluating piping vibration and apply relevant techniques of Dynamic analysis using CAESARII
    - Recognize the best industry guidelines and provide practical engineering solutions to prevent and control vibrations.

    This workshop would be featuring:
    - CAESAR program and usage explained
    - Practical Examples and Q&A at every session
    - Random 'failure case studies' along with the course
    - Application to Process piping systems as referenced in ASME B31.3

Amrit Pal Singh will be the trainer for this 3 days workshop. Armit is from Guildford United Kingdom and has a total of 18 years of diverse experience which he has accumulated from being the chief Piping Stress Engineer of Technip, Worley Parson, Fluor and Costain Oil and Gas. He has been awarded with "SCM Award for Innovation-2001" by Technip for developing a design procedure to study the effects of six directional Earthquake loads on piping in Refineries and plants with various seismic combinations.
