Human Resources Leadership Concludes Evolution is Dependent on Global Talent Capabilities

In summary, the dynamic group discussion concluded that today's HR leaders must leverage global standards and tools to meet the needs of local markets. • Global and multinational firms want the best of both worlds - the ability to have a global strategy, but local expertise with service delivery in each unique market;
• Global capability must be based on consistent foundations and through centralised leadership - brand, technology, metrics, participant experience - but implemented, managed and executed locally;
• Business leaders with international experience are a must, irrespective of their physical location -the barrier to truly global organisations and global HR functions is finding people who have an international mindset and global experiences; and
• Organisations must cultivate and promote an employer brand that resonates globally; one that is authenticated throughout the entire employee experience.
