Pinnacle Global Advisors, LLP: BSC Raiffeisen Agrees to terms with Reece Gaines
Former Louisville Cardinal Reece Gaines has joined BSC Raiffeisen in Austria.
- (1888PressRelease) January 19, 2012 - European basketball club BSC Raiffeisen has signed guard Reece Gaines. The club competes in the Osterreichische Basketball Bundesliga. Home games are played in Furstenfeld, Austria.
He played collegiate basketball at the University of Louisville. He was a four-year starter at Louisville. During the 2003 NBA Draft, the Orlando Magic selected Reece Gaines ( Round 1,Selection 15 ). He signed a multi-year deal with the Magic later that summer. He played in 38 games during his inaugural NBA season. The Houston Rockets acquired his rights in 2004. The following season he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks. He remained there through 2006.
He's spent several seasons in Europe. He has played in Italy Serie A, wearing three uniforms: Olimpia Milano, Biella, and Benetton Treviso. He has played in Spain's ACB at CB Granada. He has played for Greek side Peristeri. Of late, he played in France, wearing the JA Vichy shirt.
