PIFA Sports FC announce I league 2nd division team for 2013

(1888PressRelease) March 02, 2013 - Premier India Football Academy (PIFA) have announced their list of 28 players including 3 foreigners for the I league 2nd division tournament 2013 to play for PIFA Sports FC.

Following are the list of players that have been recruited for the club.

James Swamy (GK) , Neeraj Sharma (GK), Shabbir Ali, Aavesh Shaikh, Nihal Chandran, Roshan Karmaran, Sam Cruz, Jacky Khaidem, Varin Mehta, Nagesh Swamy, Dashyanng Kachru, Akash Jain, Tushar Poojary, Nishant Rana, Priyo Kumar, Ravindra Tamatta, Ketan Kalgutkar, Neel Shah, Clifford Garette, Sushil Kawade, Kenneth Desena, Ramakant Pawar, Ashish Pawaskar, Titus Uttankar, Roger Sam,

The club has also recruited 3 foreign players from Africa - Vincent Asuquo (Nigeria), Emmanuel Okoye (Nigeria), James Phiri (Zimbabwe).

The team will be coached by Faruk Ahmed (UEFA A licensed), Technical Director Nirvan Shah (UEFA B) and Physio Manish Dhabliya

The Team Manager is Mr Sudhakar Rane while Assistant Team Manager is Mr Tejesh Sharma.

PIFA Sport FC ,earlier known as PIFA Colaba FC will be playing their 3rd year in this competition.

They are slotted in Group B to be played in Indore. It is slated to be the toughest group in the league.

The PIFA's men team also plays the Mumbai Elite Division (MDFA). The academy also has an U19 team playing the 1st Division MDFA, U17 team playing 2nd division MDFA, U15 team runners up NIKE MUPC 2012 and Women's team.

Young PIFA academy student's Dashyanng Kachru, Neel Shah, Noel Rodriques, Roger Sam, Varin Mehta will also be representing the team.
