- (1888PressRelease) May 03, 2013 - Pierson Requirements Group has announced that their Use Cases and UML Training program will be offered to participants June 10-12, 2013. The workshop teaches the Unified Modeling Language (UML) as well as an awareness of the Unified Process, both integral parts of the development process.
Pierson Requirements Group offers comprehensive, virtual workshops for business analyst professionals. The upcoming UML training is another example of how Pierson Requirements Group delivers high-end training in an interactive, virtual format that saves businesses the cost of travel and lodging. The UML training seminar offers two days of intensive training that includes hands-on activities, teacher-led discussions and practical exercises. Students can expect to spend time modeling techniques that are used in project planning, scoping, requirements gathering and design.
More specifically, the UML training workshop offers training in the methodology that is used for capturing and modeling artifacts in the development process. Using the Unified Modeling Language, students will write use cases and build requirements as well as apply a repeatable process for project initiation, analysis, design and requirements definition.
Upon completion of the UML training course, students will have a firm grasp of the Software Life Cycle and methodology steps. They will also have practice in building UML artifacts using UML notations and be able to define the Rapid Application Development Process. Certificates, PDUs and CDUs are available upon successful completion of the two-day workshop, and students can also use the printable pdf materials and workbooks as valuable resources outside the classroom.
As with other UML training courses offered by Pierson Requirements Group, this workshop is divided into two sessions that run from 1-5 pm EST. The course starts off with an introduction and dives right into the context of the course, including UML concepts, an overview of the Project Life Cycle and case study exercises. The UML training ends with an analysis of methodology steps and artifacts. Students report that they feel more comfortable in how the project life cycle fits together and how the artifacts build on each other.
For businesses wanting to offer high-quality training for their employees without covering the cost of travel and lodging, the online workshops offered through Pierson Requirements Group are worthwhile opportunities. Class sizes are limited to 10 participants, and additional classes can be scheduled upon request. Cost is $750 per participant, with discounts available for groups.
