Teti of the Philadelphia union-side labor law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson was honored with City of Hope's Spirit of Life Award at a reception presented by the Tri-state Labor & Management Council on September 20, 2010. The reception, which took place at the Hyatt Regency at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, served as a fundraising event for City of Hope, an innovative biomedical research, treatment and educational institution.

The Spirit of Life Award is the highest honor City of Hope bestows on individuals for their philanthropic endeavors. The award recognizes a lifetime of personal and professional achievement and is presented to outstanding philanthropists who exemplify City of Hope's mission through their actions. Past award recipients hail from a broad range of industries, including business, entertainment, science and philanthropy, and share a commitment to elevating the human condition and a profound belief in the power of individuals to effect change. Prior to joining Willig Williams & Davidson, Teti was Chief Deputy City Solicitor for the City of Philadelphia. In that capacity, he served as general counsel to the city's police department, election commission, civil service commission and pension and retirement board.
