Philadelphia Labor Law Attorney Bruce M. Ludwig Presents at International Conference of Teamsters Lawyers
Willig, Williams & Davidson partner presents paper to gathering of labor lawyers.

Ludwig, of the labor, employment and workers' compensation law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson, recently presented a paper at the 29th meeting of the International Conference of Teamsters Lawyers in Providence, R.I., entitled "Growing the Union at Penn State University: Issues in Organizing a Residual Unit in the Public Sector." More than 150 attorneys from across the country were in attendance.
The presentation grew out of Willig, Williams & Davidson's representation as special counsel to the International Brotherhood of Teamsters to assist in organizing this membership drive in Pennsylvania. Willig, Williams & Davidson recently announced an Of Counsel relationship with the Chicago-based firm, Illinois Advocates, LLC, to jointly represent the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
Ludwig has been representing unions and working individuals for more than 30 years. He counsels and represents clients in state and federal courts and administrative matters ranging from discrimination and civil rights disputes to pension, retirement, unemployment compensation and wage and hour issues. Ludwig has fought to protect the rights of hard-working individuals and the unions that represent them. Though based in Philadelphia, he also offers counsel and support to clients in the Chicago area as part of the firm's relationship with Illinois Advocates.
The Teamsters started in 1903 as a merger of the two leading team driver associations. Originally known as freight drivers and warehouse workers, Teamsters now have organized workers in almost every occupation imaginable, both professional and non-professional, private sector and public sector. Their 1.4 million members include workers as varied as public defenders and zookeepers.
A partner at Willig, Williams & Davidson since 2007, Ludwig graduated from Yale College and then earned his J.D. from University of Pennsylvania law school. He lives in Bryn Mawr.
