The tooling can be made in many different configurations and is machined from hard materials-principally carbides and ceramics. These tools, used by manufacturers to produce' products and components for their own customers, are specially made to conform to the dimensional tolerances, specifications and schedule the customer requires.

Capabilities also include machining of internal, external diameters and thicknesses of .009" on up; internal and external tolerances to .0002"; and surface finishes to one micro-inch (.025 micron)
