Philadelphia Amongst Elite Cities for If It Moves, Shoot It Workshop Featuring Sandy Puc' & Jared Abrams.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) May 10, 2011 - Prominent photographer Sandy Puc' and expert cinematographer Jared Abrams have teamed up to bring the innovative If It Moves, Shoot It: Merging Motion and Stills tour this May to over 15 cities in the United States. Coming to Philadelphia on May 15, this is the second educational photography workshop this year for Sandy Puc'. The If It Moves, Shoot It seminar aims to pave the way for the future of at-your-fingertips video technology by informing photographers of all skill levels on the powerful video capability featured on the popular DSLR cameras.
Now that digital video shooting is a common feature on many DSLR cameras, Puc' and Abrams are excited to share their expertise in a comfortable, hands-on approach. Abrams is highly skilled in both still and moving photography and is a leader in this growing industry. By the end of the workshop, photographers will be able to shoot, edit and produce an array of videos with a variety of DSLR cameras.
"I really enjoyed my first of many live seminars with Sandy! I walked away inspired to reach higher and work smarter, not harder," says Christy Jenkins, of Jefferson, Indiana, after Sandy Puc's Power of Passion seminar series rapped up earlier this spring. Puc' devotes every ounce of energy she has to making learning fun and effective in hopes that attendees leave the workshop with the smarts and confidence to achieve their goals.
If It Moves, Shoot It is a fully interactive seminar that teaches how to merge video and stills together to create never-before-seen products that will make you stand out from ordinary photographers. Amongst the many lessons and tools that will be learned are a comprehensive tutorial on DSLR video functions and a breakdown of video shooting techniques and principles, including frame rate, focusing, tripod use, sound, workflow and more.
"For me education is a life-long endeavor. Life as we know it is constantly changing, improving, being fine-tuned. What once was available to a select few is becoming mainstream. I am grateful to be a part of this new video movement and for Jared Abrams to share his extensive knowledge so that photographers can affordably learn about new techniques and have the necessary tools to be successful in their craft," Puc' says of the If It Moves, Shoot It workshop series.
