The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes Phil Richard for demonstrating a high standard of excellence.

Phil Richard will be honored at the Mary Upton Ferrin Community Service Award Ceremony on Wednesday, March 21st from 6-8pm at Wiggin Auditorium at Peabody City Hall.

Phil Richard has gone routinely above and beyond, to contribute to the greater good, all while ultimately serving as a role model to others.
Phil Richard Insurance started in 1988 in a small one room office with no employees and no clients. In the 25 years in business, Phil Richard Insurance has grown to 11 employees and 3200 clients, representing approximately 7 million dollars in annual premiums of which 55% are personal clients and 45% are commercial clients. A Danvers based business, with ties to Peabody, owner Phil Richard actively seeks out opportunities for both his business and his employees to make a difference. In 2011,Phil was instrumental in bringing "Distract logy 101: A Crash Course on Distracted Driving," a texting and driving simulator, to students at PVMHS, to demonstrate the hazards of texting while driving. In addition, Phil has been involved as a participant in many nonprofit organizations, fund raisers, and community events; giving back to the communities whom have fueled his success. Some of those
