Azee Pharmacy is excited to announce its location in the Marston Medical Building in Lawrence, MA.
Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) April 12, 2012 - A unique drug store with an unusual name and a distinctive mission has opened in Lawrence, Mass.
The new Azée Pharmacy and Medical Solutions store, located at 25 Marston Street near the Lawrence General Hospital and several medical offices, is the first clinician-owned pharmacy in the area, and those running it plan to raise the bar when it comes to customer service. The Pharmacy is open 7 days a week, offer free delivery, and accepts all third-party insurances. In addition to English, Pharmacy staff speak Spanish and Portuguese.
"Our mission is to combine professional Pharmacy services with outstanding, personal customer care," according to Pharmacy Manager Thu Ly, Pharm. D, who earned her Doctoral degree in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She has more than 10 years of experience with a major retail Pharmacy chain, is adept at compounding, and is knowledgeable about ambulatory, institutional and long-term care.
Ly says, "We work in consultation with health care providers to support patients and help them achieve optimal outcomes, and we bring a unique clinical perspective that ensures quality service. Most important, our smaller size means more personalized attention. We go above and beyond what we need to do to make sure our clients/patients get exactly what they need."
"Living with any type of illness presents many challenges, not only to the individual, but also to their family members," says Ly. "Learning how to meet those challenges is a process, so my role as a Pharmacist is to help others understand more about their condition. I feel strongly that when people take an active role in the care of their own health, it will make them stronger and better equipped to deal with life's trials and tribulations."
The Azée Pharmacy has a wide range of over-the-counter medications for allergies and pain relievers, as well as a variety of durable medical equipment such as diabetic supplies including test strips and glucometers. New items are being introduced daily. Customers tell Ly how impressed they are with the beautiful and clean Pharmacy, its convenient location, friendly staff and quick service.
The store's name Azée (pronounced 'Ah-zay') comes from the Navajo word for 'medicine.' The store's logo is the Navajo medicine wheel, a Native American symbol that represents the four core elements of life: Mind, Body, Spirit and Knowledge.
The Azée Pharmacy and Medical Solutions store provides standard services such as express and automatic prescription refills, specialty packaging, refill reminders, and medication information and consultation - with translation if needed. The store also offers prescription label translation and accepts transfers from other drug stores.
Located in a renovated mill building along with medical offices and a walk-in clinic, the Azée Pharmacy accepts all insurances and offers free home delivery. The store is near a bus stop and there is a free shuttle between the store and the hospital.
