PG Bhaskar's Jack is Back in Corporate Carnival on pre-order at Infibeam
PG Bhaskar's Jack is Back in Corporate Carnival is an extremely humorous tale about a young man who takes up a banking job in Dubai with money and stability in view only to find out that life in the corporate world could be a lot more than just business.
- (1888PressRelease) August 22, 2012 - PG Bhaskar's Jack is Back in Corporate Carnival is all about how exciting - even adventurous! - life could be in the corporate world.
The story moves around the central character, Jack Patel. He and his best friend, Kitch, are looking for a job opportunity which holds not only earning opportunity but also security. Haply, exactly this kind of opportunity comes their way when they receive a decent job with conservative British bank in Dubai - an opportunity which they are not the kind of people who would pass by.
Ironically, this opportunity throws open the door to most unexpected sequence of events which are fraught with humor. The very first thing he learns is how fluid the hierarchical structure of the bank could be and in what complex ways it could affect him. He would never have imagined a Football World Cup to have the potential to mess up bank affairs in such a way as it does. The situation comes to a head in such a bizarre fashion that it drives Jack to flee from Dubai to Africa and thence to Chennai.
It is extremely amusing the way his escape route is strewn with situations inherently humorous. He saves Kitch's wife from ghost, confronts a football quiz that could make his career or utterly ruin it, tries to pick up Zulu pronunciation, almost encounters pirates, and is forced into making a dilemmatic choice between the two wives of a client… Pre-order the book and learn for yourself that it's a mad, mad, mad world!

About Author:
PG Bhaskar, a banker by profession, turned into a writer in style with Jack Patel's Dubai Dreams. Jack is Back in Corporate Carnival is his second book and is claimed to be the funniest book of the year. He seems to have made good use of his experiences gathered during his career as a banker.
Bhaskar moved to Dubai in 1992 and to this day lives happily with his wife and teenage son there. That is the story of his life. Besides banking and writing, he also loves to watch TV and cricket. And when he is not involved with banking or writing or watching TV, he is found to be engaged in putting together quiz questions. Another thing which greatly impresses us about him is his modesty.
