Lisa Hartman, a nationally recognized Dog Trainer and Author of "Dial a Dynamite Dog: The Ultimate Field Guide for Training Your Pet" has started publishing a line of books that promote and benefit local animal rescues.
New York, NY (1888PressRelease) November 17, 2011 - The full color coffee table books will feature dogs in local areas enjoying their surroundings, and telling their "tails" in a profile. All books feature stories of rescue and local animal concerns.
Lisas' soon to be released "Hampton Dogs" is a comprehensive book of dogs in the fabled "Hamptons" of Long Island, New York. From dogs born at a local shelter and now paddle boarding in the bay to dogs from a puppy mill that spend time on a yacht or watch over a chicken coup, the book runs the gamut of personal dog stories and photos.
"Hampton residents are extremely fortunate to live in an area where dogs are welcomed almost evrywhere. From beaches to the stores on Main Street, to local farmers and construction workers bringing their dogs to work with them. Dog owners in the Hamptons can share their life with their furry companions fully. Dogs already signed on for the book have been photographed on yachts, in farms , at local stores and restaurants, and every other facet of Hampton Life," Ms. Hartman said.
Local animal rescues have already benefitted through silent auctions and raffles and will also receive a generous portion of the sales. A full color book of Florida Pets as well as New York City pets are also in production, with others locals in the works.
