Schrader Elementary had been known for having the smallest kitchen and dining room of all the public schools in Pasco County because when the school was built, it was built without a cafeteria. Construction started this summer on a $11.5 million project that has torn down the school and began building it again. The new construction is to include such features as 24 classrooms, a music suite, an art suite, media center, cafeteria, administrative suite and outside covered play area.
