Baha Mar is the largest single-phase, luxury resort project currently in development in the Western Hemisphere. When the project is completed, the mega resort will have over 3,450 rooms, and it will sit on 1,000 acres. The project is valued at $3.5 billion dollars and will lead to a 1,000 room casino with an anticipated completion date of December 2014. Five additional properties are expected to open by March 2015. In addition to the new construction that is taking place, this project includes the acquisition and renovation of the existing 550-room Wyndham Nassau Resort and the 700-room Sheraton Nassau Beach Resort.
