As with every vehicle manufactured by Mercedes-Benz, performance is key. Five different engine varieties will be available with the all-new CLS. The gasoline versions will include the CLS 350 (306 hp and 370 Nm) and the CLS 500, powered by the 4.7liter V8 biturbo unit (435 hp and 700 Nm). The diesel versions will include the CLS 250 TDI (240 hp and 500 Nm), the CLS 300 CDI (306 hp and 370 Nm) and the 350 CDI, powered by the 3.0 liter V6 unit with 265 hp and 620 Nm. The CLS allows each driver to sit in the cockpit and decide which type of engine will take them to the next level.
The CLS' stylish design is striking with new full LED head lamps, a sleeker front end that was inspired by the SLS AMG to ultimately highlight the CLS' longer hood, and a fresh side character line, all the while maintaining the trademark proportions of its predecessor. This trademark four-door coupe will leave an impression wherever it makes an appearance.
There are impressive upgrades to the vehicle's interior. The CLS contains an all new three-spoke sport steering wheel and a column-mounted gear selector similar to the higher end CL and S-Class vehicles. Inside the CLS, technology meets modern style, creating an upscale vehicle that many would only dream to even sit in.
