At the upcoming 4th POSC and 2nd MEPOS Conference in Dubai, UAE, Dr. Abulobbad will be presenting on minimally invasive surgery with sinus tarsi implants for pediatric flexible flatfeet.
- Detroit, MI (1888PressRelease) September 14, 2015 - Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Ali Abulobbad from Al-Hussein Hospital in Salt, Jordan is presenting his abstract, "Extra Articular Arthroereisis Implant in the Pediatric Flexible Flatfoot" during the upcoming 4th Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Conference (POSC) and the 2nd Middle East Pediatric Orthopaedic Society (MEPOS) Annual Meeting 2015.
The MEPOS and POSC 2015 Annual Meeting will be held at the Conrad Hotel in Dubai on October 8 - 10, 2015. This joint meeting is set to be the largest gathering of pediatric orthopaedic experts. Dr. Abulobbad's presentation will be one of many presentations and complex case discussions aimed at improving the care of children suffering from musculoskeletal diseases.
Dr. Abulobbad will present on the minimally invasive surgery approach, instead of traditional reconstructive, for pediatric patients suffering from flexible flatfeet caused by talotarsal joint dislocation. He reports on cases where this minimally invasive surgery approach with a Sinus Tarsi Implant "allows normal joint range of motion and weight distribution of your body and your feet."
Extra-Osseous TaloTarsal Stabilization (EOTTS) using the HyProCure® Sinus Tarsi Stent/Implant has provided tens of thousands of patients with immediate correction for congenital/acquired talotarsal joint dislocation. Left untreated, talotarsal joint dislocation can lead to serious, long-term foot, knee, hip, and back related issues that often require aggressive forms of surgery.
