Curry has been named a partner of the firm, effective Jan. 1, 2012. Curry, who focuses his practice on mineral law; oil and gas law; and real estate law, joined Peacock Keller in June 2002, as a law clerk, earning his JD and becoming an Associate in 2004 after graduating from Duquesne University School of Law.

    Curry has been a member of Peacock Keller's Coal, Oil, Gas, Shale Gas, Mineral and Energy Law group since he joined the firm. In this capacity, he assists some of the country's largest producers of fossil fuels with a wide variety of matters relating to the real estate aspects of energy-producing operations including property acquisition, mineral title examination and analysis, property disposition, subsidence, and other issues.

    Prior to attending law school, Curry successfully managed a restaurant franchise business on the West Coast for 12 years. He is a 2001 graduate of the California University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in finance. As an undergraduate, Curry received the Wall Street Journal Award for excellence in the study of finance. As a law student, he completed a judicial internship with the Honorable H. Terry Grimes, President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Greene County, Pa.

    Curry resides in South Strabane Township, Pa., with his wife and their three daughters.
