PCA Life Launched an Economic Education Animation 'CHA-CHING' for Children

  • (1888PressRelease) October 22, 2014 - PCA Life (Young-Jin Kim, CEO, www.pcakorea.co.kr) has launched an economic education animation called 'CHA-CHING' to instill a correct sense of economy into young children.

    'CHA-CHING' produced by the U.K Prudential group's charity foundation have currently being aired on TV in 7 Asian countries including Hong Kong and Philippines from 2011. It was recognized as the most innovative economic education program from Financial Planners Association in Hong Kong and it was also adopted as a regular curriculum at some elementary schools in Philippines because of the excellent contents.

    Main characters in this animation that all have different economic habits appear as a group of sound band called 'CHA-CHING'. This animation tells the story of the circulation of money and smart spending, saving, donation through economic activities in a form of music video with easy lyrics for young children to remember it and make them follow the song.

    Young Jin Kim, CEO of PCA life, said, "I am pleased that as the first start of the new CSR initiative in 2014, we launch an economic education animation program called 'CHA-CHING' for children. I hope many children grow with the correct sense of economy and become as a wise economic player in the future through this 'CHA-CHING program.'"

    'CHA-CHING' is aired on Cartoon Network (CN), a cable TV channel, every day from 13th January between 4:00 PM ~ 4:30 PM. It is able to watch this animation again on 'CHA-CHING' homepage (www.cartoonnetworkasia.com/CHA-CHING) and also can enjoy an online economic education game.

    PCA Life is also planning to run 'Magic Number Economic Classroom with CHA-CHING Band' using the 'CHA-CHING' animation during the first half of this year at some of elementary schools.
