Tirado has been a busy actor in the last two years. He really hit his movie stride in 2011, culminating in eight feature films. Along with more conventional movies, Tirado recently acted in a short film with a role that was made specifically for him in XR91 BioRebellion 2.0 a project in which he worked with James Franco. This film was selected for the elite UCLA Annual Film Festival. Most of his other films have appeared on the independent film circuit.
Tirado's real passion is coming up with new characters, and he's known for playing a range of different roles. From a strict vice-principal with a twisted sense of humor, to a news reporter who obsessively goes to great lengths to get his story, all of Tirado's characters are convincing and entertaining. Not only are his characters elastic, but also so are his movies. Tirado has worked in dramatic and horror roles, and he is also acting in a Web-based comedy which is now available on YouTube called Not by Choice, Tirado takes the role of Gustavo, a goofy cable guy who lost his job and is trying his best to succeed at other careers. The series will take viewers on his hilarious journey that is sure to leave people gasping for breath from laughter.
Though most of his major roles are fairly recent, Tirado has been acting since before he was a teenager. Born in Spain with a love for acting, Tirado formed and acted in a theater troupe at only 12 years old. This gave him a stage to act out famous film scenes, and it imbued him with a passion for the stage that has never left. He moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to further pursue his craft, and has since studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and Edgemar's acting studio. He still considers himself a student because he is constantly learning how to improve his craft.
