Paul Gutierrez Named State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers for the Northern California Region
Paul Gutierrez, Founder of Gutierrez and Associates, has been appointed Northern California State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He will serve a two year term.
- San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) March 21, 2013 - Paul D. Gutierrez, of Gutierrez & Associates, has been appointed Northern California State Chair of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He will serve a two-year term, and will assist in vetting potential nominees for fellowship in the College, as well as representing the Northern California fellows in their College activities. He previously served as state Vice Chair of the Northern California region for two years.
The American College of Trial Lawyers is comprised of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada, with fellowship extended only by invitation after careful investigation and membership never exceeding more than one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province. The College is dedicated to maintaining and improving the standards of trial practice, the administration of justice and the ethics of the profession.

Gutierrez is the founder and principal of Gutierrez & Associates, an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) firm based in San Francisco. Prior to focusing on ADR, Gutierrez spearheaded a highly-successful 35-year litigation and trial practice at Gutierrez & Associates that focused on labor and employment, construction, real estate, commercial and securities litigation. Active in the legal community throughout his career, he is also a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and has been a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers for six years. Gutierrez received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, his M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from San Francisco State University, and his B.A. in Psychology from California State University at Long Beach.
