New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 15, 2012 - Paul Curiale will represent Long Island City in the upcoming Staten Island and NYC Marathons and is reaching out to prompt donations with the 30 day fundraising rush currently underway.
Paul A. Curiale, a 33 year old avid tri-athlete and Long Island native, is not only preparing physically for the two races but, also working to reach his fundraising goals which will benefit Women's Cancer Research Foundation (WCRF). The WCRF has developed into a comprehensive research facility, or as founding Dr. Micha says, "a one-stop shop," which provides uncompromising continuity of care and superior treatment for all of their patients afflicted with gynecologic and breast cancer.
Paul Curiale's love of fitness was inspired by his mother, Alice, who before succumbing to cancer in 2010, owned and operated Body Fit Inc., an innovative Personal Training Studio in St, James NY. As part of his ongoing commitment to his mother's memory and dedication to finding a cure for cancer, Paul Curiale has raised over $30k for Lungevity Foundation and Women's Cancer Research Foundation.
Paul Curiale has established a fundraising link for the fast-approaching Staten Island Half Marathon and NYC Marathon at http://www.crowdrise.com/justone. Paul will participate in the Staten Island event, the fifth and final borough of the NYRR 5-Borough Series, on October 7th. Just four weeks later, he will run the ING New York City Marathon, which will be held on November 4th. Paul Curiale is hoping to raise $2k for the Women's Cancer Research Foundation and is urging others to do what they can to support this wonderful cause.
Paul Curiale, as part of his long term commitment to community involvement, also serves as a mentor to West Hampton Beach High School students interested in pursuing a career in IT, and donates his services annually to the Parrish Art Museum in South Hampton.
