An HGTV expert, Patti has made almost 200 how-to videos for the Garden Girl TV and HGTV websites, publishes the online magazine Urban Sustainable Living, and has appeared on Public Television's Growing a Greener World.

Patti Moreno took up gardening as a hobby to stay in shape after the birth of her daughter, and has since transformed her backyard into one of the forefront urban organic vegetable gardens in Boston. Her pioneering efforts in raised bed, container, and vertical gardening has inspired small-space gardeners around the world, and now, Patti is extending her expertise in 2011 by giving workshops and making celebrity appearances.

First, Moreno will be appearing at Bowood Farms in Saint Louis, Missouri on March 19 for their Urban Gardening Series. She will be sharing tips from her years of experience in all aspects of growing organic vegetables in raised beds in the city.

Then in April, Moreno will travel to Orlando for the 18th annual Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot Center in Disney World as one of HGTV's celebrity landscape and design experts. From April 15th to 17th, she will be leading demonstrations of seed starting projects to get kids involved in organic gardening.
