Patrick McBride Joins Cushman & Wakefield Industrial Team
New Senior Director will Focus on Pennsylvania's I-81/I-78 Corridor Markets.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) March 19, 2011 - Cushman & Wakefield has hired Patrick McBride as Senior Director to enhance the firm's growing industrial platform in Pennsylvania. He joins a team that is headed by Senior Director Gerard J. Blinebury and includes Associate Leah Balerno.
"Pat is highly respected in the industry and brings many client relationships with him," said Blinebury. "Between the two of us, we have nearly 50 million square feet of transactional experience. Our team is currently handling over eight million square feet of listings and several million square feet of tenant representation projects.
"Cushman & Wakefield's Pennsylvania operations continue to build momentum and pick up market share," Blinebury said. "Pat's addition to our team will give us the ability to continue to grow our business. We are thrilled to have him on board."
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, McBride's 20 years of industrial real estate experience includes eight years of institutional portfolio management experience with First Industrial, Keystone Property Trust, and ProLogis. Active in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals and the local Board of Realtors, he comes to Cushman & Wakefield from Grubb & Ellis, where he was part of an industrial brokerage team covering the same territory.
"I am very excited to be joining Gerry Blinebury's team," said McBride. "On the local level, this group has a first-rate reputation for its expertise, professionalism, integrity, and work ethic. On a larger scale, I have a tremendous amount of respect for the industrial team's national leadership headed by Jim Dieter. This is a great opportunity."
McBride will be responsible for agency leasing, building sales, land sales, tenant/buyer representation, and the marketing of investment grade industrial parks along Pennsylvania's I-81/I-78 corridors, including the Lehigh Valley and the general northeastern and central Pennsylvania markets.
"The I-81 corridor in particular has been resilient through the recent economic downturn," said Blinebury. "This is a logical place for growth, both for Cushman & Wakefield and our clients, and Pat is a great addition to our team to help accomplish that."
