Past Rotary International President To Speak at Rotary Club of San Leandro
The Rotary Club of San Leandro hosts Richard (Rick) King, former President of Rotary International as the keynote speaker. His talk titled "Who Touched You" will take place on June 8, 2011 and is sure to inspire. Pre-registration is required. Deadline to register is June 3rd.
- Oakland, CA (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2011 - The Rotary Club of San Leandro proudly announces its upcoming keynote presentation titled "Who Touched You" by Richard (Rick) King, former President of Rotary International. Members of the local community who have been interested in the Rotary Club of San Leandro and Rotary International are strongly encouraged to attend this rare event. The presentation will take place at the Sequoyah Country Club in Oakland, CA on June 8, 2011 at 12:00 noon.
"We're honored to have Rick King come to speak at our Club. It's not often for a former world President [of Rotary International] to visit an individual club, " says Pratap (Pat) Poddatoori, current President of the Rotary Club of San Leandro.
Throughout Rotary International, King is known for his oratory skills and many Rotarians often attend events simply to hear him speak for his vision and inspiration.
"Rick is known as one of the best speakers in the world of Rotary. He inspires people with his stories," says Bonnie Best who serves as Secretary to the San Leandro Club and as a vital contributor within the Rotary District.
Poddatoori adds, "Mr. King is a brilliant speaker and his talk titled 'Who Touched You' will surely be inspirational."
Pre-registration is required to attend this event. Deadline for registration is Friday, June 3, 2011. There will be a $20 charge for the luncheon and presentation. Business casual attire is required.
