Passive EoC Solution Of IPTV Delivery

- (1888PressRelease) July 06, 2010 - Hungarian telco Magyar Telekom has deployed an Ethernet-over-Coax solution from local firm BroadBit for the delivery of its IPTV service 'T-Home TV' within subscribers' homes.
The rollout started last March, following three months of lab testing that started in January, according to BroadBit. The company's Ethernet-over-Coax adaptors are fully passive (no power supply is needed), and their initial deployment is described as being "very popular" with customers.
The passive unique EoC solution, EOC-IN, is supplied by EnConn. With good product features and performance, when paired with a passive unit on the other side, it has bee nominated in IFSEC awards as "Communication Product of The Year " this year.
