Partygun announces the first QR playcards multiplayer game for iPad and iPhone, freely available this April at the Apple App Store
2D Party is a free game based on the classic spin the bottle concept with QR cards to display messages on screen and characters to decide if people are to do as required by the game.
- (1888PressRelease) April 11, 2012 - Viborg, Denmark - A new way of playing with smartphones and tablets where QR codes might decide if people are to moonwalk at parties or bark like dogs will be available for free this April at the Apple App Store.
Players will spin a bottle of their choice and take action depending on the character on screen. The characters are "Master: you choose who does it", "Joker: you decide, yes or no", "Strong: you don't have to do it" and "Weak: you must do it".
The messages on screen are fun by default, but can be changed to whatever people want, so dares or truths to be revealed depend on the creativity of the players.
The QR Codes are used to display messages on the iPad or iPhone telling people what they are supposed to do when the bottle is pointing to them. Depending of the characters included in the playcards people will have to do, or not, as asked on screen. The QR Cards can be created for free online or downloaded from Partygun's site. The game is played by default without QR cards and extra game modes can be purchased inside the app.
