Party With A Purpose Presents The "Second Annual College Bound Back To School Bash"
Atlanta's Youth Get Lessons in Leadership, Team Building and College Preparation.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) August 25, 2010 - Party With a Purpose (PWAP) will be hosting its "Second Annual College Bound Back to School Bash" in collaboration with the Upward Bound Program, Life University and Clark Atlanta University on August 28 from 9:00AM till 3:00PM at the Atlanta Metropolitan College Student Center (1630 Metropolitan Parkway Southwest Atlanta, GA 30310). The purpose of the event is to promote positive and productive lifestyles in today's youth through entertainment and informative seminars. Over 150 students and their families have already registered to attend this year's event.
The itinerary includes workshops and panel discussions aimed to equip students with important life and career building information. The panel topics will include helpful information about Choosing the Right School, FASA Application, Scholarship Opportunities, and Being a Responsible Student. This year's presenters will include motivational speakers, financial aid advisors, college professors and local community service activist. Special guest include Grammy Nominated music producer Kevin "Khao" Cates, Recording artist Verse Simmonds, RPM Motorsports, Big Oomp Camp, Clyde Anderson of Mizay Entertainment and many more.
Following the workshops, guests will be invited into the brickyard area for food and entertainment. Outside activities scheduled include live entertainment, a fashion show, and dance exhibitions. "We want our youth to understand that knowledge truly is power. We understand that everyone may experience different callings throughout their lives, but it is important that we also understand the omnipresent need for continued education and self improvement. A person may choose a college, preparatory school or vocational school but it is important to reinforce their talents with tangible knowledge to truly excel," stated Robert Owens Founder of Party With a Purpose.
Party With a Purpose looks to blend knowledge and entertainment and create an exciting time for students and their families.
