ThotOfU is an app that lets you make your own greeting card in 5 minutes and send it to loved ones on their special occasion. The app is available on iOS and Google Play store and it has recieved tremendous love and applauds in the process with over 6500 downloads on the app store and over 3500 downloads on play store within days of being launched on both platforms.

ThotOfU, a stylized form of "Thought of You" provides a simple way to send fun pictures and thoughts to your friends via FaceBook. Pariksha has added a custom card designer tool letting users create their own cards in less than 5 minutes. The users can now choose from a variety of card templates and also customize the message they want to send, both on FaceBook and Whatsapp.The Company has also introduced a virtual currency which lets users buy interesting pictures at micro-payments.
"We had been noticing the growing usage of WhatsApp to share "Happy Birthday" messages. Most users posted plain vanilla messages. ThotofU already allows users to quickly see friends who have birthdays this day/week/month. It is being by users from across the world to send both birthday greetings and any casual greeting, message as the occasion demands.
The company has also introduced the concept of a marketplace for images. "We know that users don't want to pay exorbitantly for digital images. But they don't mind paying small amounts for unique images. We are offering a life-time purchase of images for as slow as Rs. 5/- per image. Users can buy images and use them infinite number of times", said Mr. Jha. The company has introduced their own virtual point system in the app for this.
The app has categories such as humor, music, sports, fashion, travel, food/drink etc. Each category has a collection of interesting images that can be used by the users. The company claims that new images will be added regularly. They also indicated that they will crowd source images from public and build revenue sharing models.
ThotOfU has been available on iOS devices through the Apple AppStoreTMsince December 2013. It is now also available on Google PlayStore for android devices. "We have over 6500 downloads on the AppStore and even delighted to share that we have 3500 downloads on the Google PlayStoreTM in less than a week", company sources claimed.
